GALA e.V. is a non-profit scientific association. The task of GALA e.V. is the dissemination of scientific work in the field of fluid dynamics
and flow measurement. This is done through scientific lectures and, with the prior consent of the authors, by publication of scientific papers
in conference proceedings and in the Internet indicating also the name of the authors and their affiliation.

Extent of processing of personal data

We process personal data of our conference participants only insofar as they are necessary for the correct execution of the scientific conference
or for the publication of scientific papers (processing purpose). We must, for example, know, who is participating by name and who is paying the
registration fee and it has to be clear who publishes what by name. Your data remain exclusively with GALA e.V. and will not be used for commercial
or advertising purposes. The processing of personal data of our participants takes place only after the expressive consent of the participant, see
before. Without this consent, however, publication of scientific papers cannot take place.

Storage duration

The storage of the scientific article and the personal data of author(s) is carried out at their request and in their interest permanently. But storage
and display on the Internet can be contradicted at any time.

Provision of scientific papers in the proceedings and on the GALA e.V. website

Description and scope of data processing

The publication of scientific papers in conference proceedings is subject to the prior consent of the author (s). A subsequent deletion of the
printed data is not possible, since the conference proceedings are already in circulation. When publishing scientific papers on the Internet,
the name and work address of the author(s) become specified.

Opposition and removal options

The author has at any time the possibility to withdraw his consent to the processing of personal data and to the publication of his scientific
work on the Internet and to object to the storage of his personal data and his scientific work. In this case, the stored personal data and the
Internet-published scientific article will be deleted. The contact can then not be continued.
